The preeminent alt.country publication No Depression has reviewed my Austin EP. As if that wasn't exciting enough, the review was by Peter Blackstock, the co-founder of the legendary magazine. While the magazine closed its doors as a print publication last year, the publication is alive and well on their website, where new articles, record reviews, and artist updates are posted regularly.
Excerpts from the review:
"It's all about setting a mood - and Drew Blackard accomplishes that beautifully."
"Entrancing title track...this one marks time well spent, in both the making and the listening."
